I was 8 years old when I first wrote a poem called, 'The Bird'.
It then took till I was doing A level English Literature at 17 and the class was asked to write a poem, my poem was entitled 'Education'.
From then on I couldn't stop......
I now write:
Poetry
Plays
Short Stories
Shows
Constitutions
Business plans
Funding applications
Overviews
And more......

The Candle.
The Candle,
Planted Gently,
Stretching High,
Through clouded glasses
The strands of warmth beckon,
Accept the comfort,
With security assured,
Because,
Just a gust,
Could,
Blow it away.

Director
I started directing as an assistant Director at college while on a Drama and Theatre studies course. I seemed to have a natural imagination and spacial awareness, so ended up supporting a few final year students with their final pieces.
After that I worked a little with Forum Theatre, but was always facinated with outdoor and spectacle theatre.
It was while running 'The Chester Juggling Shop' in 1996 that I first tried my hand at Directing myself and a select few in Street Theatre.
Since then I have continued to delve into the directors role, with particular emphasis on Spectacle and fire shows, plus 6 years of Directing Youth Street Theatre for Shrewsburys' International Street Theatre Festival.
